TWO NEW FINDINGS...KAKSI UUTTA LÖYTÖÄ...

Opposite side of the wood shed I felt that the vegetation was hiding something...A ruin of the old house perhaps? Or something else? My curiosity took over and started to cut down some of the thick vegetation and Oscar came to my help....

Puuvajaa vastapäätä minulla oli tunne, että kasvien alla oli piilossa jotain... Talon raunio ehkä? Tai jotain muuta? Uteliaisuuteni otti ohjat käsiin ja ryhdyin katkomaan paksua piikkistä kasvustoa ja onneksi Oscar tuli apuun...

I was right there was something... An old water pond made of stone... The previous owners had keep it as a deposit for the rotten wood... It was full of old wood...

Olin oikeassa siellä oli jotain... Vanha kivinen vesiallas... Vanhat omistajat pitivät sitä vanhojen puiden kaatopaikkana... Allas oli täynnä vanhoja puita, vielä kaksi valtavaa kantoa lojuaa altaan pohjalla...

In the deepest side of the pond we even found a whole that probably was a whole for the spring water to fill the pond... There is no water anymore...

Löysimme  altaan syvemmästä päästä aukon ja uskomme, että se toi lähdevettä altaaseen...Nyt lähde on kuitenkin kuivunut sillä altaassa ei ole yhtään vettä...

This glass container with fish in it was also found in the pond... we don't know how long time it has been there and we too scared to open it... It could stink a bit...

tämä lasipurkki löytyi myös altaan pohjalta, siinä on sisällä säilöttyjä kaloja... Emme kuitenkaan uskaltaneet aukaista purkkia...Se saattaisi haista ehkä hieman...

OLD WOOD SHED...VANHA PUUVAJA

While the house has been taken care by the masons...Our young friends gave us a help with cleaning the surroundings and taking down some floors on the top part of the barns. Clearing and cleaning... Here the old wood shed get a lift up, it was mostly hidden under vegetation...

Sillä aikaa kun muurarit pitävät huolta talosta...Meidän nuoriso team pisti vauhtia ja siivosivat vanhan puuvajan, joka oli kasvien peittämä, kattokin tuli korjattua ja käyttökelpoiset puut ovat nyt hyvässä järjestyksessä. Sama tiimi on purannut lattioita lisärakennusten yläkerroista... Nyt on kaikki vanhat lahot lattiat poltettu ja tila on avoin uusille suunnitelmille... 

AND WHAT IS THIS ALL ABOUT?... JA MITÄHÄN TÄMÄ MERKITSEE?...

So this morning when I left my bedroom, I closed the door and there was a new plastic door on my way and number 22...Hmmm...

Tänä aamuna kun poistuin makuuhuoneestani sulkiessani oven huomasin, että käytävään oli ilmestynyt muovi verho ja numero 22... Hmmm...

Few meters later there was an other plastic curtain and number and the next door also had a number 20 closed by...Hmmm

Muutaman metrin päässä toinen verho ja numero 23 ja käytävällä olevan oven viereen oli maalattu 20... Hmmm...

Then I had to show you this... We don't know when, but years ago when they replaced the roof tiles they just forgot to put the top cover tiles and it has been like this, who knows how long... All the rain water had run into the insulation in the roof...

Ja sitten minun piti näyttää teille tämä... Emme tiedä kuinka kauan sitten, mutta todennäköisesti vuosia sitten kun kattoa on korjattu ovat tiilet ehkä loppuneet kesken ja katon kulma osa on jätetty ilman päällimmäistä tiilikerrosta. Joten katto on ollut näin ties kuinka kauan... Kaikki sadevesi on tietenkin virrannut katon lasivillaan...

Ok, the plastic curtain keeps the stone dust out of upstairs and the numbers are for the windows... Each number is corresponding a window and before the numbers were on the windows but now most of them has been taken out... Like we don't even have front doors anymore...Open House... Happy Hours...

 Ok, muoviverhot pitävät kivipölyn pois yläkerran makuuhuoneista ja numerot ovat uusia ikkunoita varten. Kaikkiin ikkunoihin oli merkattu sitä vastaavan uuden ikkunan numero, mutta kun ikkunoita poistetaan paikaltaan niin numerot piti kirjoittaa johonkin ja taiteilija Coniel pääsi vauhtiin... Mitähän ikkunoista kun ei tässä talossa ole enää edes ulko-ovia paikallaan...Avoimet Ovet ja Happy Hours...

When you make a wish... Be specific what you wish... I was reading the other day a lovely decoration magazine and saw there an old lovely garden bench and just was wishing in my mind that I would love to have one of those... Then few hours later Gerald showed me 3 benches... This is number one...

Kun teet toivomuksen... Niin mieti tarkkaan mitä toivomuksesi sisltää... Olin lukemassa sisustuslehteä kun näin kuvan ihanasta vanhasta puutarhapenkistä ja samalla toivoin, että olisi ihanaa saada joku vanha penkki... Ja niin muutaman tunnin kuluttua toiveeni toteutui kun Gerald tuli kertomaan minulle mitä oli löytänyt ja toiveeni oli toteutunut kolminkertaisena... Tässä numero yksi...

Number two have only beautiful legs and one is broken, but with my wild imagination I can already see a beautiful bench in my garden... You have to imaging the garden too...

Numero kaksi on tässä tai sen jalat, joista toinen on poikki, mutta minun villi mielikuvitukseni näkee tämän penkin jo kauniina puutarhassani...Niin sinun täytyy myös kuvitella se puutarhakin...

This is number three, a very unusual bench or what is left of it... A snake as the leg for the bench, have anybody ever seen something like this... Here in old days they had all kind of believes to bring the good in and keep the bad out, so maybe if you sat on this snake bench the devil didn't want to come and take you... The stone carver told me that they made different carving on the stone to bring good luck and keep the evil out... I just love this unusual piece of art... Just see when it has been renovated...

Tässä numero kolme, todella erikoinen penkki tai mitä siitä nyt on jäljellä... Käärme penkin jalkana on todella erikoinen ja kukaan ei ole ennen nähnyt samanlaista... Täällä ennenvanhaan ihmisillä oli kaikenlaisia uskomuksia hyvään ja pahaan... Ehkä jos istuit penkillä, jossa käärme oli allasi piti pirut loitolla... Kivenhakkaaja kertoi minulle, että jokaiseen taloon veisteltiin kiviin erilaisia kuvioita tuomaan hyvää onnea tai pitämään pirut ulkona... Minä ainakin ihastuin tähän taiteelliseen penkkiin... Ja odottaakaa kunhan se on restauroitu...

Ensiksi muurarit poistavat vanhan kalkkirappauksen ja sen jälkeen ryhtyvät korjaamaan vahingoittuneita kiviä...

Tänä aamuna saapui suuria kivipaaleja... Valkoinen kivi on hyvin tyypillistä tällä alueella...

This man is the stone carver... Here he is cutting out the part of the stone that has the metal piece inside that use to hold the wooden shutter...

Tässä meillä on kivenhakkaaja työssään... Hän leikkaa erikoissahalla pois palan, joka sisältää puuluukkujen saranan osan vastakappaleen...

Here you can see the stone with the metal piece in and it has even been repaired with concrete and that's not good... And when with time, the metal has rust it can also brake the stone...

...And shit happens...Gerald forgot about the septic tank and the front wheel of the tractor went through the cover...  Luckily the whole wasn't too big and he managed to get out of this smelly bath...

... Paska juttu... Gerald unohti septisentankin ja traktorin etupyörä meni suojalevyn läpi... Onneksi aukko ei ollut liian suuri ja Gerald pääsi peruttamalla pois tästä tuoksuvasta kylvystä...
