This week Gerald ordered the stone tiles and got hold of a tiler specialist for these type of tiling... The cold weather worked in our favour, because this tiler was free to start next morning, in his other work place the floor wasn't dry enough... The pattern of these tiles were a bit complicated, but after a night of reflection the tiler made a drawing on the hardboard and this way he could lay the tiles faster...
The truck that was supposed to deliver the tiles could not take the road due to the snow on each small country roads, so Gerald and the tiler made two trips to the depot to get 3 tons of stones with our 4x4 and his van...
Tällä viikolla tilasi alakerran kiviset lattialaatat ja sai yllättäen laatoittajan, joka aloitti työt seuraavana päivänä. Kylmistä säistä johtuen laatoittaja oli juuri nyt ilman töitä, muuten seuraava mahdollisuus olisi ollut syyskuussa...
