The roof of our huge barn needed some urgent care. Last winter the back wall facing our neighbour was rebuilt with big corner stones to keep the new roof structure in place... Half of the roof got new modern beams and the other half had still quite good old beams that could carry the weight of all the roof tiles...
The chimney was also renovated to keep the rain water running along it inside the barn...
Tammikuussa talli, joka sijaitsee lähellä meidän naapureita sai uuden katon. Tallin takaseinän huonokunto vaati myös paljon töitä, jotta uusi kattorakennelma pysyisi tukevasti paikallaan. Osa katosta sai uuden liimapalkeista tehdyn modernin rannelman, joka sitten yhdistettiin vanhoishin kurkihirsiin tallin puolessa välissä.
Savupiippu entisöitiin, jotta sadevesi ei valauisi sisälle talliin...
